Olumide Ajayi is an IT and cybersecurity expert with over 17 years of in-depth knowledge & experience in the design and implementation of modern day secure converged enterprise and data center networks. He is a Cisco security expert and has numerous years of experience in the alignment of I.T infrastructure with organizational business strategies. His experience spans network security architecture, incident response, endpoint security, and advanced persistent threat solution design.

Olumide joined Cisco in 2017 as a Security Consultant with a major focus on designing & deploying Cisco security solutions for customers across Middle East and Africa (MEA).

Before joining Cisco, he worked with organizations across different sectors including the Financial and Service Provider sectors.

Olumide has successfully designed and deployed cutting-edge security solutions involving complex networks at some of Cisco’s largest customers in Africa and the Middle East. The customers range from the Financial, Oil & Gas, Telecommunications, Federal, Internet Service Provider and Industrial spaces.

Olumide has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering; he also holds a variety of technical certifications including the Cisco’s prestigious CCIE certification – a highly respected and sort-after credential which he has held for 10 years now. His other certifications include CCNP Security, Cisco Certified Specialist, CCNA, TOGAF9 etc.
